The Beginning Before the Beginning

My 13-month commitment is going to begin on Monday, May 1st. There will be a concrete schedule, weekly goals and plans, and lots of updates on this blog, complete with pictures! but unlike the common pitfall- where a new diet or life change “starts on Monday,” so people screw around in the meantime, I am really starting right now, and I am going to use this weekend to get ready. Besides the plants I have to plant this weekend, I am going to clean my house and set it up to support my new lifestyle (like making sure my exercise equipment is where I am sure to use it. And just to make sure I don’t feel like I’m starting from behind: it’s easier to clean a clean house than a messy house, so I’ll get it cleaned up and organized, so I can keep it clean with minimal effort. I also have to work out the concrete details of my plan, my routines and a schedule. So it will all be easy to follow, and then I will find success.
